The African Socialist International condemns the military aggression against Syria by the NATO countries of the U.S., France, UK, Turkey and allies against the people and government of Syria.

On Friday, August 30, 2013, the Black is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations (BIBC) held a militant demonstration to oppose the invasion of Syria that the U.S. imperialists characterize as "imminent."

Imperialist warmongers John Kerry, Chuck Hagel and head neocolonial-in-chief Barack Hussein Obama have disguised the plans for military incursion into the Syrian Arab Republic as "humanitarian intervention," using bogus claims that the Bashar al-Assad government deployed chemical weapons against the Syrian people.

No one expects Obama to offer anything on this trip that will reverse America's declining share of the African market. That's because the U.S. is not in the business of fair and mutually beneficial trade - it's about the business of imperialism, which is another matter, entirely. The Americans ensure their access to African natural resources through the barrel of a gun.

The loss of national freedom for any country and people in the hands of forces of parasitical capitalism is lethal! It is a national disaster of astronomical magnitude.
