On April 14-15th, 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, white people organized under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party, will hold its annual national convention. The following is a call to white people published by USM:
Here’s the question facing every white person:
Will history remember you as one of the white people who took the side of the police when Mike Brown’s body was left to bleed in the sun for four and a half hours?
Or will your legacy be one of solidarity with oppressed peoples, of reparations to African people and of unity with the righteous struggle of African human beings to reclaim power over the future of their children?
This is the question posed by the national convention of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM), April 14-15 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri. White people around the U.S. are traveling to St. Louis for the national conference to build “White Solidarity with Black Power.”
USM is an organization of white activists working under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party, organizing in the white community to win reparations to African people in the form of material solidarity with black-led economic development programs.
Now, in the heart of the impoverished black community of St. Louis, the Uhuru Movement is launching the Black Power Blueprint, a visionary project to reclaim the African community for African people, starting with the construction of a new Uhuru House black community center, the opening of a Community Commercial Kitchen, a One Africa One Nation Marketplace, black community gardens and more.
USM’s convention will mobilize white people to raise the urgently needed resources to these programs as an expression of white reparations to African people.
As Chairman Omali Yeshitela has stated, “For there to be an oppressed, there must be an oppressor.”
For the past 600 years, we, white people, have been the oppressor nation. We lynched, burned, and mutilated African people for hundreds of years to secure our place on the pedestal.
When Mike Brown bled in the sun on the pavement of Canfield Drive for four and a half hours and his killer, Darren Wilson, faced a grand jury, the killer turned to the general white population for help, and in return he received over a million dollars in donations from white people towards his legal defense before GoFundMe shut down his page.
What the African Liberation Movement is saying is that unless you are one of the white people who would throw money behind the killer of African children, you have to do something. You have to distinguish yourself.
You have to pick a side. You have to speak up. You have to take a stand. You have to be loud and clear and say “I am a white person who stands in solidarity with Black Liberation.”
“It is in my deepest interests to join in solidarity with African people and to pay reparations to the African community.”
If that’s what you feel, then you have to be at the Uhuru Solidarity Movement’s National Convention in St. Louis.
Chairman Omali Yeshitela, the founder of the Uhuru Movement, along with Penny Hess, the Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee who has organized white solidarity with Black Power for over 40 years, will be the main speakers.
This event will take place in the brand new Uhuru House, a project of the Black Power Blueprint.

The Reparations Tour: White Solidarity with the Black Power Blueprint
This Spring 2018, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM) is hosting The Reparations Tour: White Solidarity with the Black Power Blueprint, in which representatives of the Office of Deputy Chair and Black Star Industries will be speaking, including Bakari Olatunji and Tiffany Murphy.
Also speaking will be Penny Hess, Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee and Jesse Nevel, Chair of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement.
These revolutionary leaders will address the white community, speaking on why we owe reparations to the Black Power Blueprint campaign of the economic and non-profit wings of APSP, Black Star Industries and the African People’s Education and Defense Fund.
In March and May, the tour will be coming to St Louis, MO (March 15 and 19); Seattle, WA (March 18); Oakland, CA (March 20 and 21); Santa Cruz, CA (March 22); Philadelphia, PA (March 26); Brooklyn, NY (March 27); Boston, MA (March 28); Gainesville, FL (May 9); Miami, FL (May 16) and St Petersburg, FL (May 23).
Viewing parties are already confirmed in Huntsville, AL (May 23) and Asheville, NC (May 23).
The Black Power Blueprint is a project for African economic development, self-reliance, self-determination and self-government.
In the St Louis-Ferguson area, where Mike Brown was murdered by killer pig Darren Wilson and the African working class righteously rebelled, the conditions of the black community are worse than ever before in the State’s crackdown on African people’s right to be free.
Black Power Blueprint projects include an Uhuru House community center, the Uhuru Jiko commercial kitchen, community gardens and a marketplace, the African Liberation Workforce program, community housing and other much needed developmental projects by and for the black community. This campaign is a blueprint for all other areas where African people are.
African and colonized people around the world are forcing imperialism into crisis with their righteous resistance, exposing this parasitic capitalist world system for all to see.
White people all over the country─of every sector and in every town─are having to recognize how this system is built and maintained on the murder, kidnapping, rape and brutalization of African and other colonized people.
We see how this violence historically and currently benefits us and we want no parts of it.
The African People’s Socialist Party created and leads the African People’s Solidarity Committee and its mass organization the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, organizations of white people who organize in the white community to win white people to pay and raise reparations in solidarity with Black Power, thereby solving the question of “what to do with white people” in the African revolution, unprecedented until then.
All white people owe reparations to all African people and reparations looks like the Black Power Blueprint!
