We have entered a new place in the world’s history characterized by a generalized crisis without end where contradictions inherent to the colonial mode of production are exploding with great intensity.
A renewed nuclear and a biochemical arms race is increasing the potential to destroy our planet and lives altogether.
In Europe, for example, the German economy—the flagship of Europe’s economy—is in distress. Coerced by U.S. rulers, German leaders abandoned affordable, secured and reliable energy from Russia for the U.S.’s exorbitant energy prices; This adds to Germany’s inability to compete with China’s rising automotive and manufacturing industries.
Germany’s Volkswagen car maker just announced the laying off of 100,000 workers. This is a statement of a deeper crisis that they can’t resolve in the same old ways.
That is why there is a decline of colonial traditional political parties in favor of the ascent of new colonial far right parties.
That is why Germany has been rearming, under the leadership of the traditional parties led by the unpopular chancellor Friedrich Merz, since May 2025.
According to France24.com, “Germany’s 2027 defense budget rises by 33 percent from 2026, to almost 110 billion euros ($126 billion),” and the excuse given by the German ruling class is Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
France, the other pillar of the European economy, is not doing better. According to the online newsletter Capital.fr, “France’s public debt rose further in the second quarter, reaching 115.6 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) at the end of June and a record high in absolute terms of 3,416.3 billion euros, the INSEE reported on Thursday.”
Many French critics of their government blamed French Atlantist leaders for selling France’s strategic industries to the U.S. ruling class.
The actual president, Emmanuel Macron, has no majority in parliament, making it hard, if not impossible, to pass laws to govern France.
Wars of aggression, threats of wars, military blockade and economic sanctions seem to be the primary weapons used by the traditional white colonial rulers in Europe and the U.S. to either maintain the status quo or overturn anti-colonial governments.
The colonial mode of production is the black question
Africa is the center of military aggression by old and new colonial powers to reshape the balance of powers in the world to secure colonial control of our natural resources at our expense. This is the significance of the wars in the Sahel and Central Africa regions today.
This means that the responsibility of all the conscious forces opposed to global colonial capitalism is enormous.
It is imperative that African people and the oppressed peoples of the world over are clear on what our historical mission is all about.
The historical significance of our mission has been captured in the quote from professor Cheikh Anta Diop in his book “Alertes sous les Tropiques” when he said that the black person is unaware “that his ancestors, who adapted to the material conditions of the Nile Valley, are humanity’s oldest guides on the path to civilization; it was they who created the arts, religion (particularly monotheism), literature, the earliest philosophical systems, writing, the exact sciences (physics, mathematics, mechanics, astronomy, the calendar, etc.) medicine, architecture, agriculture, etc., at a time when the rest of the world (Asia, Europe, Greece, Rome, etc.) was mired in barbarism.”
A conservative estimation gives our population to be about 1.5 billion black people on the planet today. This number is rising rapidly to the point that by 2050, one of every four human beings on the planet would be African, according to respected demographers.
The recurrence of the Ebola virus and other diseases in Africa, in the context of a generalized crisis of the colonial mode of production and the decline of the U.S.-led Western power in the world, must be understood as a declaration of the U.S. intent of genocidal assault on Africa to prevent the rise and consolidation of African demographic power.
We must end this colonial mode domination in our lifetime
We can’t wait for another 25 years. The black revolution is a responsibility of everyone who wants a new world without oppression of nations, endless wars of aggression and looting by the parasitic States of the U.S., EU, Israel, etc.
We want a new world with an anti-colonial international Black Power State.
The modern global economy has its genesis in the 1415 Portuguese assault on Africa. This began the brutal and gradual replacement of feudalism as the primary mode of production in Europe through colonialism as the global primary mode of production in the world.
Every single conflict and war in Africa, and everywhere that you see African people’s communities fragmented and dispersed around the world, is about maintaining this relationship with black people and Africa as the primary pedestal that the global mode of production rests on.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) troops on streets of the U.S., the rise of far right parties in Europe, Ebola biological warfare in the Congo, the so-called zenophobia mass expulsion of impoverished African workers from South Africa, the war to further fragment Sudan, the U.S./Israel war against Iran, etc—all of these are colonial responses from our new and old oppressors to maintain colonialism as a mode of production.
The responsibility of the African revolution is to end the colonial mode of production, without which we cannot know or enjoy genuine freedom, peace and economic development.
That is why the African People’s Socialist Party says that the worldwide African revolution and the united states of Africa are historical necessities.
The colonial wars in Occupied Palestine, Africa and Iran and the threat of wars against Cuba or with China are all parts of the U.S.-led Western colonial powers’ efforts to maintain colonial domination—particularly economic and military—all over the planet at the expense of peoples without international State power.
We are Africans, the most ancient people on earth, who populated the rest of the world and developed the first civilization upon which every other civilization evolved from. We must lead the effort to build a new world free from colonial capitalist exploitation and domination.
