The APSP invites you to the 2016 Party Plenary! Organize for the Power!


 

ST. PETERSBURG, FL–The 2016 International Plenary of the African People's Socialist Party (APSP) will take place on January 9th and 10th, 2016, in St. Petersburg, FL, affectionately know as the City of African Resistance. The theme of this year's plenary is African Revolution: The Solution for Africans! 

 

We invite the whole of the African world to take part in planning the African Revolution and vision for a new world under the leadership of the African working class.

 

As Chairman Omali Yeshitela explains, ""The annual Plenary is our Party conference that takes place between our Congresses to sum up our work and establish the tasks for the period leading up to the next Plenary or Congress.

 

Day One will be a powerful day of great speakers and

presentations. Chairman Omali Yeshitela will present the Political Report: “Organize to Win! Organize to Govern! that will undoubtedly explain the deep crisis of Imperialism and the pivotal role the African People's Socialist Party's intervention to free Africa and the African nation from the grasp of U.S. white power imperialism.

 

This will be a process where the report will be discussed then voted for adoption, a truly democratic process tangible for all participants from the African world to witness.

  

We will also have a presentation from comrade Gazi Kodzo, a social media celebrity, who not only joined the ranks of the APSP but has taken on the crucial position as National Director of Recruitment and Membership of the African People Socialist Party.

 

His commitment to build our movement has brought a wave of members to the various mass organizations and APSP itself. He will deliver a presentation entitled, "African People's Socialist Party Growing Like a Baobob Tree!", which will help layout of a plan of action for the Party to continue to grow throughout the African world.

 

We will have a presentation from the Secretary General of the African Socialist International (ASI), Luwezi Kinshasa called, "The African Socialist International: The Solution for Africa."

 

He will discuss the developments of our current work in Africa and in Europe and will also give a report on the Party's trip to consolidate the Party in Occupied Azania (South Africa) in February 2016.

 

Day Two of the Plenary will be just as exciting as Day One and will highlight the work of the Party in 2015, where we will hear reports from different areas of the work of the Uhuru Movement such as: The Department of Agitation and Propaganda (AgitProp), the Party's heartbeat, whose task is to the spread African Internationalism throughout the world.

 

It will also feature reports from the Party's Regional leadership and reports from our mass organizations: The International Peoples Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM), African National Womens Organization (ANWO), The All African Peoples Development and Empowerment Project (AAPDEP) and The Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM).

 

This is a truly open and democratic conference and we would like members of the Uhuru Movement and our supporters, as well as the whole of the African nation to witness history in the making and help plan for the African Revolution.
