Save the Change to Change the airways!

ST PETERSBURG, FL–Burning Spear Media launched a 3-month fundraising campaign, on December 6, 2015, to raise $28,000 to build the baddest FM radio station in the world––Black Power 96.3 FM!

Our radio station is a huge advance for our movement.

Our station will be heard online around the world and will provide a training and distribution hub for our movement to produce, distribute and popularize the message of African unity.

Black Power 96.3 will be a powerful weapon in the war of ideasthat we are waging to win the hearts and minds of our people and a dynamic institution of dual and contending power that the Uhuru Movement is building and putting into the hands of our community.

Getting our radio station on the air represents a very real advance towards establishing State power in the hands of the African nation, making our intent to govern a concrete reality.

Support your radio station!

Freedom of the press belongs to those who own the press(and the airwaves)!

We need everyone throughout our movement to support this new radio station.

Black Power 96.3 calls on all members, supporters and followers of the Uhuru Movement and the broad African liberation struggle to support our Keep the Change to Change the Airwavescampaign, by beginning to set aside your change every day until March 10th and to send in your donation of $96 to get Black Power 96.3 FM on the air in St. Petersburg, Florida.

You are an important part of a growing community of supporters, in St. Pete and around the world. Together, we are pooling our resources to get this important station off the ground!

Sign up today at blackpower96.org

We will mail you a mini bank to help you collect your change.

Send in what you have saved each month (we will keep a count of your total and add to our fundraising thermometer) or contribute the entire $96 by March 10th so we can thank you at our special all-day live web-streamed celebration on March 12.

Thank you again for supporting Black Power 96, the station where the black community plays our own music and tells our own stories.

We got the power!
