Gavin “Cosmo” Long kills three cops!

BATON ROUGE—Three Baton Rouge cops were killed and three more injured, one critically, on Sunday morning of July 17, 2016.

The person that the cops say was responsible for the shooting was an African man named Cosmo Ausar Setepenra. Ruling class media still calls Cosmo by his birth name, Gavin Eugene Long.

Cosmo was martyred by Baton Rouge cops, but not before first taking out three of theirs.

The incident started at about 8:40 a.m. EST. Baton Rouge cops received a call that a man wearing all black and wearing a black ski mask was walking alongside a road while carrying an assault rifle.

Two minutes later, the pigs made contact with the African man that we now know to be Cosmo. It was then that the shootout began.

Cosmo is a hero!

Cosmo left a great deal of information about who he was and how much he loved African people on different social media sites.

Unfortunately, but not unexpectedly, the State rushed to have those sites taken down as quickly as possible.

In one of his last YouTube videos, Cosmo explicitly said that he is not affiliated with any organization at all. In fact, he said that if anything were to happen to him the media would surely try to say that he was affiliated with an organization such as the Nation of Islam (NOI) in order to discredit the organization. He said that he was a part of the organization for a short period of time, but no longer was.

Of course, white people’s media used that video to say that Cosmo’s actions were related to his affiliation with NOI, which is totally false.

In another video, Cosmo was in Dallas shortly after Micah X was martyred. He said that he would be meeting with the people of the African community to encourage and empower them.

There was another video of him speaking to young African men in Baton Rouge. He gave a book he had written out to everyone he came into contact with.

He made a point of telling the African men that they do not have to take the cops abusing them.

At one point, he said, “If I was with Alton Sterling that night, I would have clapped back!”

One of the young Africans in the video asked Cosmo if he were there in Baton Rouge for the protests. Cosmo responded with, “No, because the protestors that are out there now will be gone a month from now. I’m here for the people.”

He spoke to an African brother on video about how his trip to Africa changed his entire perception on life. He spent two years in Africa traveling to Rwanda, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Ghana and Burkina Faso.

Cosmo told the brother of a story that an elder in Africa told him about war. He said when African men would go to battle against an outsider, the African wives would tell their husbands not to come home defeated. And if the African husband does come home defeated, the wife would kill him. This meant that the African warrior had two options: either win the battle or die trying.

It is clear that Cosmo took on this philosophy when going out to battle early Sunday morning.

Throughout his videos, you can feel his passion and love for his African people.

Imperialism is in crisis!

It is clear that imperialism is reeling from the fact that oppressed people worldwide are tired of being oppressed.

From the recent events of Africans fighting back in Dallas, TX and Baton Rouge, LA to the events of white power fighting amongst themselves as in “Brexit” and in Turkey, it shows that imperialism is truly in its last throes.

In the powerful book, An Uneasy Equilibrium: The African Revolution versus Parasitic Capitalism, author Chairman Omali Yeshitela (Chairman of the African People’s Socialist Party) wrote years ago of these events happening now around the world:

“The current policies of the imperialists designed to crush the will of the people’s resistance in Afghanistan and the Middle East, all of Africa, Asia, the Americas and the world, are attempts to maintain the shaky empire and its ideological reflections that define identity and the nation according to its interests and will.” (pg. 109)

The people are beginning to fight back as well we should. It is our right to resist!

Fists Up! Fight Back!

Long live Cosmo Setepenra!
