Black is Back Coalition demonstration demands “Hands Off Venezuela”

The Black is Back Coalition for Peace, Social Justice and Reparations will hold a protest and rally outside the U.S. Department of State, 2201 C Street NW, Washington, DC, on Sunday, March 10, 2013, 1:00pm Eastern Time.

The Black is Back Coalition recognizes the importance of standing in complete solidarity with the people of Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution in this period in time.

U.S. imperialism has tried to disrupt the Bolivarian project on numerous occasions. They have used coup d’etats, oil strikes and their most powerful weapon, the media.

They have made every effort to destabilize the elected government of Venezuela and with Chavez's death they will escalate their attempts.

The revolution in Venezuela is very important to all of us fighting imperialism. We must defend the process going on in Venezuela if we are going to defeat imperialism.

The Black is Back Coalition calls on all progressive organizations and individuals to join us in solidarity.

Hasta La Victoria Siempre! We will win!
