Africans from around the U.S. will convene in Ferguson for InPDUM’s 25th Anniversary Convention!

FERGUSON––Africans from all around the country are coming together to unite with one goal in mind––liberation of African people everywhere!

Africans from Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Florida, Texas, California and St. Louis will be convening on Ground Zero of the resurgence of the black liberation struggle, Ferguson, MO, on Saturday and Sunday, September 17th and 18th, for the International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement’s (InPDUM) 25th Anniversary Convention: “Continuing the Black Struggle for Self-Determination: The task at hand.”

The Convention will be held at the Greater St. Marks Church where we will organize and strategize towards gaining true self-determination as one African people.

There is no question that revolution is the ONLY solution for our freedom. There will be various workshops to provide our people with critical skills to build and organize towards revolution in our own communities.

We will have special guest speakers, including INPDUM’s President, Kalambayi Andenet and Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP), who will delve into the historic trajectory of our 25-year-old organization, as well as outline our strategic way forward.

Other speakers will include Gazi Kodzo and Zaki Baruti.

There will also be panel discussions around important issues affecting our communities.

What will we do about the State and its murderous pigs? What about education for our African children? Where do same gender loving (SGL) people fit into the struggle for African freedom?

The answers to these questions plus more will be provided at this historic 25th Anniversary INPDUM Convention.

InPDUM is working to continue the Black Revolution of the Sixties

The International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement is the mass organization of the African People’s Socialist Party. We are self-determined and self-reliant, the bulk of our work is to put power into the hands of the African working class and to organize the African masses towards liberation.

Unlike other organizations, we don’t accept one red cent from the State so they have no influence here! We are the people, not the pigs, as Fred Hampton once stated.

The African working class youth of today have something special––the decades-long experience of our revolutionary leadership who were present during the thick of the Black Liberation struggle of the Sixties and witnessed its defeat by the U.S. government.

Our leaders have learned from the mistakes of that time and have developed strategies to ensure that the same mistakes are not made again. As a result of 50 plus years of experience, our Movement is everything we need it to be to be successful.

In this current period of strong African resistance, our Convention will offer the guidance that the masses need to move the struggle forward. And the people are excited!

Seats are filling up fast, so register today, tickets are going fast!

For those that can’t attend but would like to participate and contribute, the convention will be live streamed on Theburningspear.com.

Online viewers will have the opportunity to interact with our panels and speakers via online Q&A sessions and comments.
