The Campaign for African Community Self-Defense is a response to the intensifying colonial violence that African people throughout the world are experiencing at the hands of white power, both in the form of the imperialist State apparatus and the general white population itself. InPDUM recognizes that the ultimate solution to colonial violence is the seizure of revolutionary national democratic state power in the hands of the African community itself - aka Black Power.

The Uhuru Movement calls on students, artists, computer technicians, carpenters, plumbers and electricians, health care workers, teachers, young people and workers in general to come and participate in the Oakland Freedom Summer Project 2012, from July 9 to July 29.

All members and supporters of the ASI will be looking at our conference in Nassau, which is the new beginning for African revolution in the region. This conference marks the beginning of an end to the isolation of African workers' and peasants' struggle. Our people will no longer fight in isolation. There is no longer a Bahamian struggle, Haitian struggle, Trinidadian struggle, but there is one African struggle, separated by imperialist borders to keep us oppressed and poor.

On Tuesday, April 10, 2012 and the next several days following, InPDUM branches in Philly, Cincinnati, Washington DC and other parts of the U.S. and Europe will wage a blitz of Marches for Black Community Self Defense.

AAPDEP, as a strategy of the African People's Socialist Party, can transform the relationship that Africans have to imperialism, eventually empowering the people enough to overthrow it.

For those of us who want to free the Congo and its people from imperialism, we must equip the people with our own solution. Ours is a program that demands an end to imperialism, the bureaucrats and African petty bourgeois sell-out compradors.
