HAITI—2019 marked the end of the colonial ‘cholera’ crisis that plagued Haiti. Haiti faced a reported total of 820,000 cholera cases and just 200 deaths short of 10,000.

Just as the colonial COVID-19 virus is wreaking devastation on the oppressed and exploited African community inside this country, the Indigenous people are also catching hell. 

A simple device that clips on to your finger could save your life from the dangerous COVID-19 pneumonia, according to an article in The New York Times on April 20. 

Despite having been labelled by the U.S. government as ”exploited workers and agents of communist indoctrination” in what was intended to be a criticism, Cuba has deployed 37,000 doctors and nurses from its Henry Reeve Brigade—founded by Fidel Castro in 2005—in an act of medical diplomacy to at least 67 countries worldwide in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

Dead on arrival—body after body flooding a local morgue in Hayward, CA, just outside of Oakland. These recent deaths at a convalescent home are attributed to the Coronavirus also known as the colonialvirus as it affects the poor, the vulnerable and colonized communities disproportionately to that of whites, the colonizer community.

The statistics are staggering. African people are dying in striking numbers and the only thing the bourgeoisie can do is stuff billions of dollars into the coffers of large corporations.

April 4, 2020—As the COVID-19 pandemic sweeps the country, our colonized African working class communities throughout the U.S. are being ravaged by illness and death from the virus at a much higher rate than any other community.

April 3, 2020—Kalambayi Andenet, International President of the International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM), mother of two and resident of one of north St. Louis’ most oppressed neighborhoods, went to social media this week in anger.

There are now more than 100 confirmed cases in the U.S., with 31 of those in Washington state, which also has the first related deaths (nine).
