Democratic Rights

Nassau, Bahamas––The Bahamas National Coalition Party (BNCP) staged a protest at the entrance of Sandals Royal Bahamian on Monday, August 22, 2016. The protest was held to show solidarity with 600 workers who had been recently fired by the hotel and was supported by the African People’s Socialist Party-Bahamas and the Africans United Coalition.

For two days, August 13th and 14th, Africans from throughout the U.S. convened in Philadelphia at the First Unitarian Church to attend a historic conference. 

This conference was the clearest demonstration yet that the struggle for our liberation has reached a new height.

"The Democratic Party, like its Republican duopoly cousin, is a criminal enterprise, polluting the politics of Black America. Any sustained Black movement must, of necessity, be in opposition to the Democratic Party and its civic society annexes."

"While factions of the petty bourgeoisie are opposed to the rule of Nkurunziza, they all represent the same class and have the same submissive relationship with our white imperialist oppressors."
