Black is Back march on White House: The black community has our own political agenda for self-determination!

The African People’s Socialist Party has never had any illusions about the ability of the electoral process to provide freedom, justice or progress for our people, especially the African working class population of the U.S. and the world.

This is why we were prepared when Donald Trump became the 45th president of the United States in an upset victory over Hilary Clinton, the flag-bearer of the Democratic party of Barack Hussein Obama.

What’s in an African name? History, identity and self-determination

The issue of names and naming is really powerful.

It’s so deep and profound, more than what most of us ever think about. Most of us don’t think about our names, where we come from, what our names mean, anything like that, which in and of itself is a problem. But we never think about that.

Names are really important because names connect you to a past, to your history. Names are not just things floating out there in the world, but if you want to even look back and see where you came from and dig into your roots, the name is fundamental. It comes from someplace.

African Internationalism: A theory to explain the world

African Internationalism is a theory that explains the world, as well as the place and future of Africans in it. African Internationalism recognizes that capitalism, born as a world economy, has its origin in the assault of Africa and in the global trade of African captives as well as the ensuing European onslaught on most of the world.

Africans from around the U.S. will convene in Ferguson for InPDUM’s 25th Anniversary Convention!

Africans from Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Florida, Texas, California and St. Louis will be convening on Ground Zero of the resurgence of the black liberation struggle, Ferguson, MO, on Saturday and Sunday, September 17th and 18th, for the International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement’s (InPDUM) 25th Anniversary Convention: "Continuing the Black Struggle for Self-Determination: The task at hand."

The Convention will be held at the Greater St. Marks Church where we will organize and strategize towards gaining true self-determination as one African people.

There is no question that revolution is the ONLY solution for our freedom. There will be various workshops to provide our people with critical skills to build and organize towards revolution in our own communities.

Niggas are scared of revolution

Our Party and the Uhuru Movement often refers to the Black Revolution of the Sixties when speaking of the development of our struggle for freedom in the U.S. This is not because of some nostalgic pining for better days.

The 1960s was an era that is notable for its revolutionary character. It was an era that best revealed the deeply experienced desire by the oppressed masses of the world for fundamental change.

It was an era within which revolution was the main trend and imperialist white power was pushed back on its heels politically and ideologically by the most crucial agents of history: the oppressed and exploited peoples upon whose backs world capitalism was constructed.

Forward to the July Cadre Development School 2016!
