When it comes to upgrading the failing sewage infrastructure in St. Petersburg our position is that the big corporations and real estate developers who build in the city of St. Petersburg, must pay an infrastructure tax that will be used to upgrade our sewage system. 

My name is Anne Hirsch and I am running for District 5 City Council. I live in Lakewood Estates! I want to weigh in on the issue of the proposed housing development by Boley on 54th Ave S to house people who are dealing with mental health challenges and addiction.

ST. LOUIS—In 1976, Chairman Omali Yeshitela forever changed the world and the role of white people in it with the creation of the African People’s Solidarity Committee (APSC). Before capitalism there was no “white people.” It was only through attacking Africa, enslaving African people, and colonizing the rest of the world that white people created “white people.”

Travel to any corner of the globe and you will find someone a wearing a t-shirt bearing the face of the beloved “heroic guerrilla” Che Guevara, whose life of resistance and revolutionary struggle continues to inspire freedom loving people today.

Once again, French people are on the street. A group known as Yellow Vests emerged on the national scene in France on November 17, 2018. They are demanding a fair capitalism.

Just a matter of days after the African People’s Socialist Party forever alters the course of history with its Seventh Congress in St. Louis, Missouri, Chairman Omali Yeshitela and other leaders of the Party and the African People’s Solidarity Committee will embark on a major speaking tour called “Days of Reparations to African People.”
