BAHAMAS—26 members and supporters of the African Socialist International (ASI) embarked on the 2019 Marcus Garvey Legacy Cruise—the annual fundraiser of the African Socialist International—from December 14-19, 2019.

HAITI—The High Court of Accounts put out the second part of their “Petro Caribe” funds report on Friday, May 31, 2019, four months after putting out the first part on January 31, 2019.

The 2017 Marcus Garvey Legacy Cruise took place from December 9-16, 2017.  The supporters and friends of the Uhuru Movement sailed aboard the Carnival Glory for a seven day, six night exotic Caribbean cruise. 

The African People’s Socialist Party-Bahamas is calling on all freedom loving people throughout The Bahamas, the Caribbean and around the world to attend an historic Build to Win Conference on Friday, March 24th at 7pm in Nassau, Bahamas. The African People’s Socialist Party-Bahamas was established in 2013. It is a political organization aimed toward the liberation and unification of Africa and African people under the leadership of the African working class.

Robert Nesta “Bob” Marley came into existence on February 6, 1945. Marley, like Marcus Mosiah Garvey, hailed from Jamaica. While he traveled the small planet called Earth most of his life was spent on that Caribbean island.

BAHAMAS––Thousands of Africans in the Bahamas marched to celebrate Majority Rule Day on Tuesday January 10, 2017 in the Bahamas. 

Fifty years ago on that day the first black government was elected into office in this country. 

During that 1967 election, the vote was split 18 seats for the Progressive Liberal Party, who represented the executive committee of the local African petit bourgeois and 18 seats for the United Bahamian Party, the all white ruling class party

Fidel Castro's death on November 25, 2016 drew different reactions across the world. Revolutionaries mourned the death of the man who liberated Cuba from U.S. imperialism while many petty bourgeois Cubans living in the U.S. celebrated his death alongside imperialism.

HOUSTON—Comrade Comandante Fidel Castro, leader of the Cuban Revolution has died. He was 90 years old and passed away in his beloved Revolutionary Cuba in the town of Santiago.

Fidel, captured and on trial, in October 1953 for his role in the failed military attack on the Moncado Barracks in his statement to the court and the people begin his own eulogy by proclaiming, “Condemn me, it does not matter. History will absolve me.”
