The Uhuru Movement, on behalf of the African community, has called for the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division to investigate the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office for the murder of black teenagers, cover-up of evidence that would indict the deputies, and a pattern of illegal stops, police chases, searches, and arrests which violate the 4th amendment rights of black residents.

Names are really important because names connect you to a past, to your history. Names are not just things floating out there in the world, but if you want to even look back and see where you came from and dig into your roots, the name is fundamental. It comes from someplace.

 

Fidel Castro, internationalist Cuban revolutionary, dead at 90

HOUSTON—Comrade Comandante Fidel Castro, leader of the Cuban Revolution has died. He was 90 years old and passed away in his beloved Revolutionary Cuba in the town of Santiago.

Fidel, captured and on trial, in October 1953 for his role in the failed military attack on the Moncado Barracks in his statement to the court and the people begin his own eulogy by proclaiming, “Condemn me, it does not matter. History will absolve me.”

African nation versus U.S.-led white nation in Tanzania

LONDON—Tanzania, like the rest of African countries, is facing hardship with a GDP of $45 billion in 2015 and about 70 percent of the population living on less than $2 a day. 

It is a vastly agricultural country where in 2015, according to Deliotte’s Tanzania Economic Outlook 2016 at deloitte.com, “the agricultural sector contributed 29 percent of the GDP, compared to 28.8 percent in 2014. This was the largest contribution, surpassing all other sectors.”

The defeat of Democrat Hillary Clinton has come as a blow to imperialism as many can be seen on colonial news crying after the election results.
