We are halfway there! Fund the Best Sons and Daughters of Africa Cadre Development School!

We are halfway there! Our wonderful Uhuru Movement supporters have donated $6,000 towards the overall goal to fund the Best Sons and Daughters of Africa Cadre Development School, July 2-29, 2016 in St. Petersburg, FL at the Uhuru House!

DONATE to make it possible for the Party to provide housing and food for the fifty people traveling from throughout the world to attend! Invest in the future of a liberated Africa!

As Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP) has said, “the Cadre Development School will train our leaders to forward the struggle to reclaim our own future, through Black Power over our own black lives.” We must fight for our own power and in our own interests. Despite the furor surrounding the 2016 U.S. presidential race, it is clear none of the candidates, whether Trump or Sanders, will advance the interests of our oppressed and colonized African nation. That task is on our shoulders.

Two generations after the U.S. government’s military defeat of the Black Revolution of the Sixties, a reign of State terror that saw our best leaders assassinated and imprisoned, there is no task more urgent and critical than to build revolutionary organization led by the African working class.

Only such an organization, comprised of steeled cadres ready to do whatever it takes to win our liberation, can rebuild the mass revolutionary movement of our people struggling for our liberation from colonial domination.

The Cadre Development School is our “Boot Camp.” It is a training designed to build revolutionaries, with an extremely intense schedule that will train Party members in the Party style of work.

Classes will be held in Political Theory; Democratic Centralism; the Unit Structure and building Black Star Industries, the Party’s institutions of dual and contending power.

Practical trainings will be held with community organizing happening throughout the week, as comrades go door-to-door and sell The Burning Spear newspaper.

Each day will begin with early morning physical education including weight training, aerobics and yoga.

As the Chairman says, “In the process of transforming the world, we ourselves become transformed. A person will enter the door at the beginning of July and leave a month later as a cadre, transformed to do whatever’s needed to lead the African working class to make the revolution.”

DONATE!

The APSP calls on you to sponsor or contribute to the Cadre Development School:

Donate $2000 for the transportation for comrades from Africa to attend; $200 for the food costs of comrades attending or $240 for 50lb bags of brown rice or beans.

We encourage every freedom loving person to donate any dollar amount that they can afford. No amount is too small and no amount too big!

We need your support! The future of our Africa and African people is at stake.

Each and every one of us has a profound responsibility and interest in putting every resource we can behind this historic school.
