The Pope stands with white power imperialism and colonialism

NEW YORK–Jorge Mario Bergoglio (aka Pope Francis I), leader of the criminal enterprise known as the Roman Catholic Church and one of the key galvanizing forces for imperialism, colonialism and parasitic capitalism, made a whirlwind tour through the U.S. cities of New York, Washington DC and Philadelphia, from September 22nd to 27th, 2015.

Bergoglio inherited the keys to the Vatican City, the headquarters of the church which has played a pivotal role over the centuries in coordinating and carrying out the enslavement, genocide, plunder, rape and terror against African, Indigenous and other oppressed peoples.

It is this enslavement, genocide, plunder, rape and terror that gave birth to the capitalist system.

It was the Catholic Church that carved up South America in 1494, dividing up the land, its people and resources between Portugal and Spain for purposes of slavery, genocide and plunder.

Bergoglio is a vicious imperial terrorist despite being heralded by the imperialist white power media as a compassionate and liberal pope.

One of his first acts after arriving in the U.S. was to name as a saint the Spanish Franciscan Friar Junipero Serra, notorious as the architect of genocide of Indigenous people in California.

In the 1770s, as part of the Catholic Churchs role in the colonization and genocide in North America, Serra created the system of California missions, filthy, disease-ridden forced labor camps where the Indigenous people were enslaved, raped, terrorized and denied the right to speak their languages.

According to the Daily Kos article, The Great California Genocide, 86 percent of the Indigenous men, women and children forced into the camps perished.

Ultimately, at least half of the estimated 300,000 to 1 million Indigenous inhabitants of what is now called California can be attributed to contact with the Catholic missionaries. By 1910 there were less than 16,000 indigenous people left in the state.

An article in Jewish Journal reports that the California missions were cited by Hitler as the inspiration for his concentration camps in Europe in the 1930s and 40s.

Just days after the Pope canonized the criminal priest, Aljazeera America reported that the statue of Serra at Carmel Mission, CA had been toppled and spray painted with the message saint of genocide.

Bergoglio member of death squads in Argentina

Born in Argentina, Bergoglio is well-known as a vicious collaborator in the U.S.-backed dirty wars against South America in the 1970s.

Bergoglio was the head of the Catholic Jesuit Order in that country during the reign of the U.S. backed military dictatorship of general Jorge Videla from 1976 to 1983.

The now-Pope Francis was complicit in the torture, disappearances, murders and terror inflicted on the people and political activists of Argentina under the CIAs Operation Condor that murdered, tortured and disappeared more than 30,000 workers and students in Argentina during those years.

A Global Research article, Who is Pope Francis?, states that in 2005, human rights lawyer Myriam Bregman filed a criminal suit against then-Cardinal Bergoglio in Buenos Aires accusing him of conspiring with the military junta in the 1976 kidnapping of two Jesuit priests.

Survivors of the dirty war accused Cardinal Bergoglio of complicity in the kidnapping of the two priests along with six other people associated with their Catholic parish.

Bergoglio was accused of handing these forces over to U.S. backed death squads.

The Dirty War Pope, an article from the World Socialist Web Site states that:

In the early 1970s, he was associated with the right-wing Peronist Guardia de Hierro (Iron Guard), whose cadretogether with elements of the Peronist trade union bureaucracywere employed in the death squads known as the Triple A (Argentine Anti-Communist Alliance), which carried out a campaign of extermination against left-wing opponents of the military before the junta even took power.

Bergoglio also continues to cover up the reality of the Catholic churchs endemic and organization-wide sexual rape and abuse of children throughout the world.

See Uhuru News, The crisis of the Catholic Church is a crisis of imperialism: Pope resigns in storm of sexual abuse, money laundering charges for more background on the criminality of the church.

We must build the African revolution to liberate Our Africa and African people worldwide.

It is the only way to fight the colonial reality of the power of the Catholic Church and imperialism itself!
