POSITION TITLE: GYM MANAGER
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Under the supervision of APEDF Executive Director,
you will provide leadership to the gym staff to meet the financial and development goals of the
institution. You will increase and retain membership in the gym, maintain a top-notch positive
institution, and gain participation in the healthcare community in Wellness Program activities.
You will be responsible for financial and development goals of the institution set by APEDF, and providing strategic leadership to gym staff and APEDF to meet goals; prepare and present weekly and monthly membership retention and financial reports to APEDF staff and Board; conduct regular staff meetings and training; supervise volunteers and community service workers; lead and maintain APEDF customer relations among staff and volunteers; supervise and train staff on all gym staffing responsibilities and staffing policies; developing and coordinating all staff in the Member Services Program; responsible for carrying out marketing and promotion duties, which include developing and executing short and long term marketing plans and programs to yield gym membership goals set by APEDF; promote the Fitness Gym and Wellness Program; maintaining gym membership database and records; analyzing membership; preparing and maintain marketing/promotion activity report; managing production and distribution of promotional materials; coordinating media and internet promotions; coordinating and conducting monthly health education seminars and other special events such as open houses and annual health fair and editing and distributing, “Healthy Connections” our monthly health education newsletter.
