Oakland Day in Solidarity with African People opposes colonial violence

OAKLAND–The 2014 Day in Solidarity with African People Campaign kicked off on October 5th at the Uhuru House in Oakland, CA, sponsored by the Uhuru Solidarity Committee, the mass organization of the African People's Solidarity Committee which organizes white solidarity under the leadership of the African People's Socialist Party (APSP).

The Days in Solidarity with African People call on white people to stand in solidarity with the African-led movement for liberation and to organize for white reparations to African people recognizing that the wealth and power of the U.S and Europe are built on a foundation of slavery and genocide.
