Likay Bombi Kongo wins the Biko Lumumba Award for Comrade of the Quarter!

When we speak of embodying African Internationalism, Likay Bombi Kongo is a comrade who does just that.

Likay exemplified the best concrete example of “do-for-self” in our movement.

Likay was one of the persons to lead the effort to get Black Star Industries and Youth Educational Supplies, Inc. (YES) registered in Europe as a legal business entity.

He brings implementable ideas to establish economic development for the Uhuru Movement and for comrades in the work.

Along with Comrade Markus Kothner, Likay has started a business named Bantu Enterprise that will partner with the African People’s Socialist Party’s (APSP)’s Black Star Industries, which seeks enterprising, creative and industrious individuals with the drive to develop successful companies while at the same time supporting the whole African economy.

This is no small accomplishment.  This means that the APSP can do business throughout Europe as a consequence of this comrade going back and forth to the government office and interpreting laws and policies of the government.

Comrade Likay never loses a business opportunity; it is only our collective limits that can prevent this comrade from raising our business capacity to its highest capacity.

It does not stop there. Likay is from the Democratic Republic of Congo where he also puts African Internationalism out in that country as well.

Comrade Likay is the Director of the African People’s Socialist Party’s London Literature.

Likay is the comrade who takes Yeshitelism and the APSP’s Agit-Prop books, pamphlets, newspapers and other materials across Europe to Germany, France and Belgium in his suitcase, which is also what the Chairman did for many, many years to win people to the Party.

Comrade Likay is a recruiter. Whenever he travels abroad, he never comes back without great news of winning new contacts and recruits to the Uhuru Movement with science and ideology.

Comrade Likay is actively making mini-video clips to spread African Internationalism and the Party ideas out in the world.

In order to speak in all these areas of the work, Comrade Likay is fluent in French, Lingala and English, which is a major asset to carry out the work internationally.

While in the U.S. in February attending the African People’s Socialist Party Plenary, he made video clips to promote Black Star Industries in French and Lingala.

Likay is also an organizer of the We are Patrice Lumumba Coalition; this comrade has grown to the point that he can go to any event, put the line of the Party out and take over the meeting with African Internationalism.

This is why Comrade Likay Bombi Kongo has won Comrade of the Quarter!
