The eyes of the world bear witness to the heroic resistance of the Palestinian people facing Israel’s barbaric genocide in Gaza—a genocide modeled on the U.S. and Europe’s colonial oppression of African and Indigenous people.
The Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM), the organization of white people working under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party to build white solidarity with the African Revolution, will host our national convention on March 9-10, 2024, in St. Louis, MO, titled “No More Genocide In Our Name.”
This is a call to white people: Stand in solidarity with the right of African people in the U.S. and around the world to national liberation, to be free and self-determining, in unity with all oppressed and colonized peoples—from Gaza to Venezuela to Cuba to Niger to Haiti to North St. Louis!
The APSP writes: “The wealth and power of the U.S. and Europe—and Israel, for that matter—would not exist without the colonization and theft of resources from African people.”
“No More Genocide In Our Name” is a stand for reparations to African people for centuries of stolen labor, lives, and resources.
No more prisons, no more police murders of African people on the streets of this country, no more gentrification, displacement, and destruction of whole communities, no more infant and maternal deaths inflicted on African babies and mothers.
No more FBI war on Black Liberation. Not in our name.
Stand for victory to the Indigenous people in the so-called Americas in their ongoing struggle to liberate and reclaim their stolen land.
Build white solidarity with Black Power—the most important thing we can do as white people, settler-colonizers, here in the belly of the beast, to oppose the U.S.-backed genocidal massacres in Occupied Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, and around the world.
Refuse to walk over the graves of African and Indigenous people, here inside the borders of the U.S., to say that we protest what the same government and system is doing to oppressed peoples abroad.
It is one system. It is one struggle against colonialism, built on the backs of African people.
The liberation of African people is key to the liberation of all humanity.
As white people, we have a role, a responsibility, and an assignment in the African Revolution’s strategy for liberation, to go back into our own white communities and build the movement for anti-colonial solidarity and reparations to African people as a revolutionary demand.
The USM convention will launch a major reparations campaign of massive redistribution of wealth towards the anti-colonial programs of the APSP, working to negate colonialism and create political-economic power in the hands of the African working class.
Workshops will address how we can build the anti-colonial free speech movement, demand the U.S. government drop the charges against the Uhuru 3, stop all FBI attacks on Chairman Omali Yeshitela and the APSP, and free Indigenous political prisoner Leonard Peltier.
“No More Genocide In Our Name” is more than a slogan. It is a pledge of unity with the rest of humanity, a commitment to organize in solidarity with the African and oppressed peoples of the world, under the leadership of the African Revolution.
