Dr. Jill Stein arrested in St. Louis for expressing unity with struggle against colonialism

Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein was arrested earlier tonight, April 27, in St. Louis, Missouri for expressing her unity with the struggle against colonialism by Palestinian and African people.

At approximately 7:00pm, Stein was arrested on the Washington University campus for joining with students to stand in solidarity with the heroic Palestinian resistance.

Less than two hours earlier, at her campaign event at the University City Library, Jill Stein expressed support for Chairman Omali Yeshitela and the Uhuru 3 who are facing bogus indictments by the Biden department of justice for waging the anti-colonial struggle for the liberation of African people in the U.S. and around the world.

Stein was planning to appear at the Uhuru Solidarity Center in the evening for a meet-and-greet fundraiser, but she was not able to attend due to her arrest at Washington University.

While U.S. president Joseph Biden sends another $26 billion to the illegitimate, U.S.-backed Israeli settler colonial state to continue its genocidal slaughter in Gaza, Stein is on the front lines here in St. Louis facing arrest for her solidarity with the struggle against colonialism as demonstrated by her unity with the African and Palestinian liberation movements.

Update on April 28, 2024

Dr. Jill Stein was released from the St. Louis County Jail at around 3:00am on the morning of Sunday, April 28, 2024. In the following video she describes her arrest and also talks about the Uhuru 3 case and expresses her support for Chairman Omali Yeshitela.
