Jesse Nevel, St. Petersburg mayoral candidate, runs against big money elite with platform of “Unity through Reparations”

Jesse Nevel announced his candidacy for Mayor of the City of St. Petersburg, Florida on March 8th, 2017.

The 27-year-old is best known for his work as the National Chair of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM), the organization of white people working under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP), organizing for reparations to the black community.

 

49th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination: MLK did not die of natural causes!

Civil Rights Movement leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated by the U.S. government on April 4, 1968. He was 39 years old when he was gunned down on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN.

April 4, 2017 marks the 49th anniversary of MLK’s assassination.

King’s death was the result of the U.S. federal government’s counterinsurgency program which targeted black political leaders of the 60s with the purpose to destroy the Black Liberation Movement.

With radical platform, 20-year-old Eritha “Akilé” Cainion campaigns for city council seat in St. Petersburg, Florida’s August elections

ST. PETERSBURG, FL––Eritha “Akilé” Cainion Cainion threw her hat into the race to become the next councilperson for District 6 in St. Pete on Monday, March 6, 2017. The 22-year-old African woman made the announcement during a press conference held in front of the recently shutdown Walmart with her proud parents and a group of enthusiastic supporters.

Eritha’s participation in the local white ruling class electoral process of St. Pete is different from any other election in recent U.S. history due to her committed relationship and work within revolutionary organizations.

D.A. Seth Williams must go to jail! End the mass imprisonment of African people!

PHILADELPHIA-The Black Is Back Coalition’s Black Community Control of Police working group attended a demonstration organized by Black Lives Matter, PA centered on the demand for the resignation of district attorney Seth Williams on March 27, 2017.  

The Black is Back Coalition (BIBC) is clear that it is not enough to only call for Williams’ removal. Williams must go to jail for malicious prosecution and participation in selling prisoners for profit.
