The African National Women’s Organization (ANWO) is convening our 2019 National Plenary, which will focus on training our sister Comrades in the organizing science of the Uhuru Movement.

The Black is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations has issued a call for black people to descend on Washington, DC this fall for a two-day mobilization demanding an end to U.S. military and economic aggression in Africa and African communities worldwide.

Capitalism was born and is sustained by the blood of our peoples. Karl Marx referred the genocide and enslavement of Indigenous and African people as the “rosy dawn” of capitalist accumulation, but for the past 500 years we have fought back against the always ravenous machinery of parasitic capitalism and white power.

​Hundreds of black people from throughout the U.S. and from every town, city and state, will descend on Washington, D.C.—capital of imperialist white power—on November 3 and 4.

Our Party and Chairman Omali Yeshitela have guided the African Revolution for the past fifty years. Chairman Yeshitela has brought African people into the world arena as one of the first colonial nations to have successfully united, under one banner,  an international liberation movement.

A little more than 30 years ago, Africans were often murdered in this country for simply attempting to register to join the Democratic party.

Midway through the campaign in St. Petersburg, Florida, to elect Akilé Anai for district 6 and Jesse Nevel for mayor, the Campaign Committee determined to form a new organization as the umbrella for the precinct organizing for the duration of the election.
