In a bid to empower local artists and strengthen community ties, Black Power 96 and Social Sundays have fortified a collaborative partnership. Social Sundays Spotlight is a weekly live event held at The Factory in south St. Petersburg, Florida. Now, winners of Black Power 96’s “Local Going Global” weekly contest are also offered a performance spot at Social Sundays, in addition to heavy FM airplay rotation and promotion on the radio station’s social media platforms.
