This Comrade exemplifies everything the Party and the Chairman has been calling for: to be a cadre with a cadre stance.
Tafarie Ngwaniwapo is the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party-Occupied Azania. His willingness to accept tasks in order to move the Party forward is outstanding.
The Comrade is punctual and he struggles to be accountable for his work.
He provides reports needed on the work that he leads in the country and he is quick to offer a self-criticism whenever he is unable to get his work done on time.
Under his leadership, every Comrade in the units he has built or helped lead takes the political education provided seriously.
Today, Comrades are able to engage in any discussion on past Party publications, such Congress documents as far back as 2010.
He is a talented writer and effective distributor for The Spear.
Under Ngwaniwapo’s leadership, despite the enormous poverty that engulfs the African community, the Party is able to print t-shirts, hats and other necessary items to raise funds.
He is selfless and he carries the entire Party with him. He does not hesitate to share every resource he has with his Comrades who have less resources or nothing at all due to unemployment that placates African Comrades in Azania.
He is responsible for the work to build the Party in Azania.
Between March 28 and April 3 of this year, Comrade Tafarie led and hosted the “Africa Must Unite Tour”, which invited a delegation of the African People’s Socialist Party-UK and USA, which was comprised of Chairman Omali Yeshitela, Deputy Chairwoman Ona Zené Yeshitela, Secretary General Luwezi Kinshasa and Comrade Themba Tshibanda.
He recently hosted the Pre-Congress Conference at Evaton West, a working neighborhood suburb of Johannesburg as mandated, on September 8 and 9.
He extended tremendous hospitality by opening up his home and giving up his bed to the Comrades.
He organized friends from his work place to offer transport to the movement.
He is restless and always organizing. He has succeeded in winning membership in three of four different provinces in Occupied Azania: Rauteng (which includes Johannesburg and its suburbs), Eastern Cape, Western Cape and Limpopo, near Zimbabwe Province.
The Party now has two Comrade sisters involved in building the African National Women Organization in Occupied Azania.
Because of his leadership, the colonized African working class has the possibility of fulfilling its role of being the Vanguard of the African Revolution on the African Continent.
